The power of attorney form allows you to nominate someone else to manage your financial affairs, including buying and selling real estate, shares and other assets, operating bank accounts and spending your money on your behalf. Let us know what you think of the new forms in terms of their design, structure, content, ease of use and clarity of information about the roles and responsibilities of both the principal (you) and the attorney (the nominee). You can download the forms and provide feedback by 22nd Feb 2013 to ofainfo@facs.nsw.gov.au. Please ignore the December deadline as it has been extended.
