The Woolworths Basics Box helps provide essential products to customers who are currently unable to visit Woolworths stores - the elderly, people with a disability, those with compromised immunity and people in mandatory isolation.

Available to all Seniors Card and Senior Savers members.
Currently available for delivery to ACT, NSW, VIC, SA and TAS

What is the Woolworths Basics Box?

It's just that, the basics.

The Woolworths Basics Box was created to help provide meals, snacks and a few essential items for those in genuine need. It’s not perfect - it doesn’t include everything and is likely to be different to what you’d normally buy. You’re also not able to choose, switch or select the products you’ll receive - but by removing choice, Woolworths are able to get more boxes to more vulnerable customers faster.

The list below is an example of what may be included in your Woolworths Basics Box. While some products will vary due to stock availability, Woolworths will always aim to provide a similar range of products. Unfortunately Woolworths are currently unable to cater for specific dietary requirements.

A limit of 2 boxes per customer, per fortnight applies.

What is included?

Household Essentials

  • Flour
  • Sugar
  • Toilet paper
  • Soap (or other hygiene products)

Breakfast

  • Longlife milk (or a dairy substitute)
  • Fruit juice
  • Weetbix, oats (or breakfast cereal)
  • Crackers (or similar)
  • Spread (jam, vegemite, honey or peanut butter)

Lunch & Dinner

  • Pasta (or rice, lentils, noodles, quinoa, couscous)
  • Pasta sauce (or similar)
  • Canned tuna (or other canned meat)
  • Canned items - soup, vegetables & fruit
  • Baked beans (or similar)
  • Tortilla bread (or similar)

Snacks

  • Tea
  • Biscuits (or chocolate wafers, sweet snacks)
  • Muesli bars (or dried fruits)

How to order

The Woolworths Basics Box is only available for delivery. To order online simply:

  1. New customers: Register for Woolworths online, don’t forget to add your Seniors card or Senior Savers card details.
    Existing customers: If you’re under 60 years of age and unable to visit Woolworths stores, please register for Priority Assistance here, once approved you’ll be able to order the Basics Box within 3 hours.
  2. Add the Woolworths Basics Box to your cart
  3. Complete the payment and place your order.
