GoldService guests can choose from twin or single sleeper cabins. Twin cabins have a comfortable three seater lounge for relaxing during the day and converts to an upper and lower sleeping berth at night.

Sleepers are fully serviced by a dedicated steward with fresh sheets, pillows and doonas. Each twin has a private ensuite with its own toilet, wash basin and shower. Single cabins have most of the features of the twin

cabins except showers and toilets are located at the end of each carriage. Complimentary toiletries and bath towels are provided in all Gold Service Sleeper Cabins.

All meals are included in the fare and are served in the stylish Restaurant Cars. Whether enjoying breakfast, lunch or dinner, guests can enjoy their meal while watching the Australian landscape go by. The ever changing menu will often feature native Australian cuisine. Quality wines and beverages are also available for purchase.

Gold Service also offers a Lounge Car that comfortably seats up to 30 guests and is perfect for a quiet drink or enjoying the spectacular Australian landscape. It is here that strangers from around the world meet and get to know each other. The Lounge Car is divided into smoking and non-smoking sections. There is a good range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to choose from as well as snacks and souvenirs. Complimentary tea and coffee is available 24 hours and music and commentary on the journey is available via the PA system.
