And while an ageing population poses challenges, it also presents a range of opportunities and benefits to older people and to the community as a whole. In this edition we focus upon positive ageing: Maintaining health into the senior years, exciting things to do and see as well as new grants and initiatives.
A lot of people incorrectly tend to think that the older you get, the more depressed you become - when we know that this isn’t necessarily so. If you are over 80-years-old and lead an active, healthy life - beyondblue: the national depression initiative wants to hear from you.
