Blue Mountains

Taking less than two hours to reach from Sydney by train or car, the Blue Mountains is a region abundant in natural beauty and fantastic activities. Byron Bay

Situated on the NSW North Coast, Byron Bay is a region home to stretches of scenic coastline, areas of lush hinterland and a famously relaxed atmosphere. The region’s golden beaches make Byron Bay a great spot for swimming, surfing or simply lazing on the sand, while the hinterland is ideal for exploring during a leisurely weekend drive. Byron Bay’s weekly markets, trendy cafes and vibrant events are also well worth adding to any long weekend itinerary.

Hunter Valley

Around two hours from Sydney by car, the Hunter Valley serves up great food, fine wines and plenty to see and do. Whether you’re looking to indulge or get active, you’ll find all manner of activities to take part in. Spend a day touring the region’s cellar doors, undergo a relaxing treatment at a local spa or settle in for dinner at one of the Hunter Valley’s well known dining spots.

Central Coast

Located between Sydney and Newcastle, the Central Coast is a picturesque destination well worth exploring over the course of a long weekend. Home to picturesque beaches, charming towns and villages, and so much more, there are more than enough to while away the hours. Spend a long weekend camping, set out on a bushwalk through the Bouddi National Park or embark on adventure encompassing horse riding, sailing or one of the many other activities offered in the region.

South Coast

Stretching 600km south of Sydney, the South Coast is a destination well worth exploring. Boasting pristine beaches, great food and plenty of opportunities to get active, there’s plenty to see and do across a long weekend. Explore the cafes of Wollongong, feel some of the world’s whitest sand between your toes at Hyams Beach or take time to stroll through the Minnamurra Rainforest.
