Undesirable Favourites
Dear NetGuide,
I have three undesirable new items in my favorites that have suddenly turned up on my favorites list. How or why I do not know, but I want to be rid of them. I do delete them and empty my recycle bin, but they keep coming back. Is there any way in which I can permanently be rid of them? I also receive an entirely different home page, which has been replaced by what looks like a search page for businesses.
These are browser hijackers & adware. Use Ad-Aware (www.lavasoftusa.com) or Spybot Search & Destroy (www.sbybot.com) to remove them.
